A practical walkthrough
Create an editable QR without signing up
Create and edit a dynamic QR without an account. Save your private management link, download the code, and optionally claim it into a dashboard.

Create the code at the homepage
Paste a complete public HTTP or HTTPS URL into the homepage generator. QRSwivo saves the destination and creates a permanent redirect URL. The resulting management page displays your scannable QR, PNG/SVG exports, and public URL.
There is no account requirement for this workflow. The service still needs to store the QR record and apply abuse controls. No signup is a convenience, not a promise of anonymity or absence of infrastructure processing.
Save the right link
The public link is safe to print and share. The private management link contains a secret after the # character. That fragment stays out of the initial page request; the editor passes it to the API in an authorization header when needed.
Copy the private link into a password manager or save the recovery file somewhere secure. The service stores only a hash of the guest credential and cannot reconstruct it for you. If you lose an unclaimed guest credential, you may permanently lose edit access.
Move to an account when it helps
An account gives you a dashboard for several codes. Sign up, reopen your saved guest management link while signed in, and choose Claim QR to my account. Claiming requires the valid original credential and revokes guest access afterward.
The public URL stays unchanged during transfer, so your printed QR continues to work. Accounts currently use email and password without email recovery or verification delivery. Use a unique password and store it safely. External email delivery must be configured and tested before those features can be offered.
Put it into practice.
Scan your code before and after a destination change. Keep your private management link safe. Create a free dynamic QR code.
